Abstract
The field of herbal pharmacy has undergone significant advancements in recent years, driven by the increasing demand for natural remedies and the growing body of scientific research supporting their efficacy. This chapter explores the innovative trends in herbal pharmacy, focusing on new methodologies for the extraction, formulation, and standardization of herbal medicines. Recent technological advancements, such as nanoencapsulation, biotechnological approaches, and 3D printing, have enabled the development of novel herbal dosage forms with enhanced bioavailability, targeted delivery, and improved patient compliance. Additionally, the chapter discusses the role of modern analytical techniques, such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry (MS), in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of herbal products.
